Sponsorship and Advertising Partnership
Once a year, U.S Figure Skating holds an Eastern Sectional Championship to crown the best Synchronized Skating Teams in the country’s Eastern Section. These teams advance to the National Championships, held in March. In January, 2012, these Championships will be in YOUR community at the Giant Center and the Historic Hersheypark Arena. Participating in the event will be 2,500 skaters, and all their support staff. With the expected inclusion of family members traveling from all over the East Coast and local skating fans, we estimate over 10,000 visitors from outside of our community will be arriving in January. They will want to know where to eat, where to shop and where to sleep. We are planning on targeting the immediate community with special offers to encourage the general public to attend. This could bring attendance totals to nearly 15,000 per day. In addition, IceNetwork will be providing live streaming video to the web for a wide audience of figure skating fans both in and outside of your community. The U.S. Figure Skating brand is synonymous with excellence, artistry and elite athletic ability. Partnering with a United States Figure Skating event brings a prominent and cultivated customer to your business.
